The Rev. Marian Taylor serves as the Interim Pastor at South Frankfort Presbyterian Church during this time when the congregation’s Pastor Nominating Committee is leading a search process.
Rev. Taylor’s call to ministry came after completing a PhD in political science at Harvard University in 1986 and working for five years for a large philanthropic organization in Mexico. She graduated from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 1995. She held several posts in the PCUSA’s national offices, including a decade as director of Worldwide Ministries. She then became the executive director of the Kentucky Council of Churches until 2015.
Rev. Taylor reports that she sees exceptional “energy, intelligence, imagination and love” at South Frankfort, and she is blessed to accompany our congregation in a time of transition.
